Philias LeBlanc, 74, of Memramcook East, died Thursday (21 mars) at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a lengthy illness.

Philias LeBlanc Born in Memramcook East, he was a son of the late Edouard Y. and Marie-Blanche (Dupuis) LeBlanc, and attended Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East.

He is survived by his wife, the former Eva LeBlanc; two daughters, Mrs. Télorise Gaudet and Mrs. Bernard Pellerin (Cécile), both of Scoudouc; seven sons, Omer and ,Jude, both of Moncton, Walter and Aimée, both of Memramcook East, Léonard of College Bridge, Rhéal of Belliveau Village and Louis of Coquitlam, B.C.; five brothers, Yvet, Camille, Alban and Gillis, all of Memramcook East, and George of Memramcook Lake; 12 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Philippe.

The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. Funeral mass will be celebrated Sunday at 4 p.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery later in the spring.
